Thanks to everyone that came out for the event!

The weather was great and everyone seemed to have a great time. Congratulations to the all the kids that came out for the Bike and Big wheel races. Everyone of them did an excellent job and we had some good close racing. These youngsters are definitely going be a force to watch for as they grow into our future racers. Some very good competition and a great group of kids.

Now for the big kids.

Everyone that came out had some very cool rides and congrats to all that won the peoples choice awards . We enjoy putting on this show to give everyone a place to come out and enjoy themselves for some good old fashioned bench racing. We also give everyone the opportunity to go out and settle the old bench racing tales of mines faster than yours!  I was glad to see a few of these were settled at the show.

Bring those cars out and have a blast. Everyone is welcome.

DRAG BASH & Detroit Horsepower are proud supporters of the Top Wrench Gear Head Challenge.

We want to welcome local area high school automotive auto shop classes to this years events to show what they have been working on and to compete in head to head racing competitions. We hope that this will give further learning experiences to the teens of today and their futures in hot rodding.

Congrats goes out to the students from Sevier County High School on their win and to William Blount High School for runner-up in the Gear Head Challenge on the track. Also all the schools in attendance did an excellent job with their builds. Just goes to show that the automotive hobby is still just as strong as ever.

Good Luck to our future Gear Heads. See you at the track next time to settle yet another Gear Head Challenge.

Available lodging and directions for the hot rodders coming in from out of town will be added real soon.
